We spent £1000 on a Temu mystery pallet & hit the jackpot – we nabbed an air fryer and TWO hoovers | The Sun

A FAMILY who spent £1,000 on a mystery pallet of goods from Temu have revealed their favourite items from the epic haul.

Dad Roland and kids Ralph and Lily took to their YouTube page to show themselves unboxing the huge crate of items.

"We have no clue what it is," Roland said.

"It could be anything. And as you know Temu has a wide variety of so many things from household to clothing, electronics, sport…

"Literally it could be anything."

Showing the huge array of boxes, he added: "This is what £1000 gets you at Temu. There's a lot.

"And that's just boxes – I don't know if they then have things inside them!"

They then started opening the packages, as they admitted it felt like "Christmas morning" with the amount of excitement involved.

The first item they opened wasn't too exciting – a bucket storage system – but then things got a whole lot better as they unwrapped what appeared to be a milk frother similar to Hotel Chocolat's Velvetiser.

Continuing the viral theme, they then opened not one, not two, but THREE huge 40oz tumbler cups – a dupe of the famous Stanley cups.

"I'm not joking guys when I tell you… it feels solid. The quality is so good!" Roland commented as he felt the weight of one of the cups.

"I know there'll be iced coffee lovers out there that would love these."

The haul continued with some squishy toys and a dog neckerchief, which was quickly put on their dog Woody.

There was even a mini claw machine, complete with the toys to put in to "win".

Next was a Formula 1 car building blocks set, a football and pump, notepads for school, a dog water bowl, an ornate glass mug and spoon and a burger making pan.

"When I say mystery, it's very mystery, because it's so random," Roland laughed.

"But again guys, the quality of everything is very good."

They also got three towels, a towel made to look like a Nintendo Switch controller, a monitor riser, a bento lunch box, some plastic containers, an electric train and a Halloween wreath.

In terms of the more expensive items, Roland was thrilled when he opened a mini sports massage gun, while the kids both fought over the LED wireless charging speaker.

And the next item blew their minds – a robotic floor hoover.

"Oh my gosh, it's one of them hoovers," Ralph said, as Roland added: "This is mad, I did not realise you can get this much different stuff on Temu!"

They also got a mini speaker, two Halloween blankets, three pairs of wireless headphones, a pair of over-ear headphones, a magnetic calendar for the fridge, a dog cushion, a portable dog bed and a 3,696 piece sports car building blocks set.

But the item the trio were most excited about was undoubtedly the air fryer then unwrapped towards the end of the haul.

Failing to hide their delight at getting one of the cooking devices, Roland gushed: "Oh my goodness, I literally wanted to buy one of these!"

And they immediately got it set up on the kitchen counter and put some frozen chips in to test it out.

People were quick to comment on the YouTube video, with many admitting it has made them think twice about shopping on Temu.

"I used to think Temu was a scam but then I order something and it was actually alright and now this makes me feel like it real," one wrote.

"I have been wanting a massage gun for ages!"
