During the 32-second, Pri shares a glimpse at what her garden looked like before the pair got their hands dirty.

Their rectangular back garden was mostly soil, with thinning patches of grass on one side.

On the other side was a small walkway made up of grey patio stones.

She then goes on to share some of the quotes they had when asking how much it would cot to build a small decking area.

One professional wrote: “Softwood £1,400, Hardwood £2,970, Composite, £3,160.”

So the pair decided to tackle the garden themselves. The next few clips show Pri’s husband turning the soil and attempting to level it out, before building their own decking and laying new turf.

Speaking exlsuively to Fabulous, she said: “The house is a new build so there was just mud and rocks, and the ground was uneven.

“We started off by levelling the area we wanted the decking in and then started building.

“We bought the wood for the frame, the deck boards, wood screws and levellers from B&Q. We had help from family and friends so spent one Saturday levelling , laying weed control and building the frame.

“The next Saturday we added more joists and then the following Saturday we added the deck boards.

“For the rest of the garden we manually rotavated the earth as best we could, removed the rocks and then laid down some shop bought soil.

“The original plan was to grow grass from seed but after about a fortnight we had almost nothing, so we decided to get some turf.

“It arrived during the heatwave so we were concerned about it drying out. There was some trial and error as we realised we’d left too much overlap and had to trim the excess the next day.

“We watered the grass twice daily and it took to the soil well.
