CLEANING professionals have unveiled a clever way to remove carpet stains and it’s so easy.
Just like the time Rachel and Joey spilled spaghetti on the floor, we’ve all accidentally dropped some food that’s stained the carpet.
But now, two Scottish cleaning whizzes have shared the ultimate hack to remove it and get the material as good as new.
Sharing a video of her colleague standing in a kitchen, one half of the pair said: “Right, so we’re going to show you a wee trick we do at one of our client’s houses that sometimes got stains in the carpet and stuff like that.”
She then passed the baton on to her colleague, Claire, who explained that the simple cleaning solution involves hot water and detergent.
“What we’re going to do is, we’ve got a bucket of hot water and we’re going to put a bit of laundry liquid,” Claire told viewers as she poured some into the mop bucket.

“Liquid is the best,” she continued. “Now, this could be Ariel, Persil, whatever you want to use.”
The woman holding the camera added that people only need to add a small amount to get the desired effect.
Claire then shared that people need to use a clean mop head to dip into the solution before getting to work on the carpet.
Moving over to where the two stains were on the red carpet, Claire then scrubbed the marks down.

“And it saved you having to get down on your hands and knees,” she went on as she moved the mop back and forth in the area.
“And scrub, this is so much easier,” she added.
The camerawoman added: “And that’ll just dry in and as you can see, the marks go.”
She then zoomed in on the same place where the stain had been previously as she said: “So there’s you go people, that’s that all dried and as you can see, it’s gone.
“And the carpet looks all refreshed.”
People were quick to comment as one person immediately hit out at their hack by saying: “That’s going to leave a film on that carpet go back in two months and see how the dirt has stuck to it”. [sic]
