Woman proudly shows off her DIY fence – but the trolls are out in full force and they’re all making rude remarks | The Sun

A DIY fan has shared how she made her very own slatted fence – but it’s totally divided opinions.

The woman explained that she saved on the cost of getting the professionals in and used rough sawn timber to give her garden an upgrade.

Michaela, who posts on TikTok under the username @mishkashoe, documented the step-by-step process of her fence build.

At the start of the clip, Michaela shared what her fence looked like before she got to work.

Broken and tired, the DIY fan was desperate to give her garden an overhaul.

Michaela removed the old fence and then shared a short clip of her during the DIY process.

She explained that she used rough sawn timber to create her fence build and we saw her using an electric drill to fix the timber slats in place.

At the end of the clip, the proud woman showed off the finished result and we think it looks great.

Reflecting on her fence build, she said: “Still need to add extra support in between the posts but [I’m] so happy with the progress.

“This is our first ever attempt at fence building and I'm so happy with the outcome.”

A third posted: “That will last about 1 year then you'll need to replace”, to which Michaela responded “I don’t really know why you think that. It’s already treated and it’s absolutely solid. I’m proud of what we achieved.”

Whilst someone else chimed in: “It’s [gonna] rot.”
