Your fave air fryer brand has brought out a toaster and people swear it’s brilliant… but it has a big problem | The Sun

YOUR favourite air fryer brand has gone viral over its snazzy new toaster but foodies are worried you can only fit one slice of bread in it.

Ninja has created a toaster that flips to grill and bake, coming with a handled metal slice to easily get your pizza toast in and out.

The device has gone viral on TikTok after chef Joni Blackstone dubbed it the “Bentley of toasters”.

However, eagle-eyed foodies were quick to point out that it only has one slot for bread.

“So do I need to make one slice of toast at a time?” one asked. “I’ll stick to my four slice toaster.”

“But I can only make one slice of toast in it,” another moaned.

Ninja cleared up that the slot is wide enough to fit two slices of bread in it – but the technology on how the sides of bread touching each other will get toasted is unclear.

“Combining the performance of a slot toaster with the versatility of a grill, all in one space-saving design,” bosses at the kitchen gadget company said.

“Enjoy even, edge-to-edge toasting in toaster mode with seven shade settings and a long, wide slot that easily fits two slices of bread.

“More than a toaster, simply flip to transform into grill mode to easily create meals for the family in minutes.

When the one-slice fears were cleared up under Dr Joni’s video, foodies were rushing to nab one of the toasters.

“This will be great for leftover pizza,” another beamed.

Ninja’s products have become a household staple since the rise of air fryers, with its versions being considered the crème de la crème of the nifty devices.

But similar to the rest of its pricey products, the toaster will set you back £129.99.
