AN UNDERWEAR influencer shared exactly how to try on your bras to make sure you get the perfect fit… and most of us have been getting it wrong.

TikToker Madison Alexandra talked followers through a step by step guide to getting it right.

She explained that you should never buy a bra that you have to wear on the tightest clasp on the back as that means it's already too big.

Madison said: "How to try on bras step by step.

"First adjust the strap setting four fingers above the bottom so it doesn't disrupt the fit.

"Now put on the band, if you can put the band on the tightest hook automatically, it's too big.

"Always start new bras on a loose hook and on any hook, if you can pull that band really far from your body, or if it curves up your back to any degree – it's too big.

"For a correct fit you should only be able to put two fingers between you and the band on the loosest hook.

"Once your band fits, then shimmy into the cups and pull all of your breast tissue from the side forward.

"If you get quad-boob or the wire is literally sitting on top of your boobs, the cup is too small.
