Vegan Chef Babette has rid herself of eczema, asthma and earaches. Not only has her health improved since changing her eating habits, but she also credits her youthful looks down to her diet.

The ageless beauty spoke on the daytime TV show The Doctors about her transformation and secret to looking younger.

Babette stated: “I look and I feel amazing, at least like I’m 40 – and you can too.”

But what is Babette’s secret to looking and feeling three decades younger than her actual age?

She recalled meeting her husband at age 40 and being introduced properly to veganism when he cooked her a vegan meal on their first date.

Babette stated: “I gave up meat overnight and I noticed I started feeling better.”

She claimed that giving up animal products relieved her of some of her health issues.

She stated: “As I eliminated dairy, I stopped having asthma attacks, eczema started clearing up, and no more problems with my ears.”

Babette also revealed that the better she was eating, the better – and younger – she felt.

She felt that her skin improved, and she was also able to digest food much easier.

She called this process a “miracle”, explaining that now she eats for the purpose of nutrition.

Cutting down on things like crips and fizzy drinks has made her feel younger than ever.

She has even developed her own lifestyle change into a business, starting up a vegan restaurant called Stuff I Eat.

She concluded that all the issues she once had “disappeared” over this 30-year journey between 40 and 70.

According to The Vegan Review, a plant-based diet is “rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals which have been known to benefit the quality of the skin”.

The website explained: “Vitamin C stimulates collagen production, while vitamin A is important for developing and maintaining skin cells.

“Vitamin E can slow ageing and diminish the appearance of scars. All of these can be found in a healthy plant-based diet”
