An ‘Instagram famous’ baker has shared her simple recipe for decadent chocolate chip cookie dippers – and their perfect for a cold night in

‘They’re super delicious and you can dip them in whatever spread or sauce you wish… melted Biscoff spread, Nutella, salted caramel sauce or even pistachio sauce,’ she said.

The recipe includes butter, sugar, flour, eggs and chocolate, she explained in the post and makes 24 mouth-watering bars and take just 25 minutes to cook.

Eloise starts by creaming the butter and sugar before adding in her eggs and the vanilla essence.

She then adds the flour, salt and bicarbonate soda to the mix before folding it gently – being careful not to over mix it.

Once it is ‘just combined’ the baker adds the chocolate chips, before scooping it into a tray and covering with more milk chocolate bites.

She says it is important to let the cookie mix cool after it has been baked, as this allows it to set and become firm.

Eloise shared the recipe with her 1.6 million followers on Sunday morning

How can I make the cookie dippers?

Ingredients

225g unsalted butter, softened

150g light brown sugar

75g granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

300g plain flour

1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1 tsp salt

250g chocolate chips

50g of chocolate for the top

Method

Pre-heat the oven. Add the softened butter, brown sugar and white sugar to a bowl and mix until light and fluffy. Then add two eggs and the vanilla and mix until combined.

Then add the flour, salt and bicarbonate soda to the mix and fold until it is just combined.

Then fold through the chocolate chips.

Scoop the mix into a  lined baking tray and smooth it out.

Top with more chocolate chips then bake at 160c for 20-25 minutes.

Allow it to cool in the tin before chopping into 25 bars and serving with sauce of choice.
