Ben Platt engaged to Noah Galvin: ‘He agreed to hang out forever’
Ben Platt and fiancé Noah Galvin aren’t in a rush to walk down the aisle.
“We’re taking it slow,” Platt told Page Six exclusively earlier this week at a screening for “Theater Camp,” in which they both star.
“We’re just sort of enjoying doing this,” Galvin added, while both of them merrily flashed their engagement rings.
The couple then noted that the nuptials will take place “next year,” but no dates have been set.
Platt and Galvin first got engaged in November 2022 after dating for nearly two years. They went public with their romance in May 2020.
“he agreed to hang out forever 💕,” the “Parade” star, 29, captioned a series of photos on Instagram from the proposal, which took place at a restaurant in Brooklyn, NY.
“I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours 🫂,” Galvin, also 29, added on his own account at the time.
Earlier this year, the “Real O’Neal’s” alum proposed right back — even though the couple were already engaged.

Platt revealed on his Instagram Stories at the time that Galvin had proposed with a sapphire ring, which looked like the one he gave his fiancé during the first proposal.
“He proposed back 💙,” the “Politician” alum wrote alongside a pic of the sparkler.
The two met when they each played the lead role in the Broadway show “Dear Evan Hansen,” with Galvin taking over the title role after Platt stepped down.
“We were friends for five years, and right before the pandemic, we finally decided to really give it a shot,” the “Pitch Perfect” star later explained on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” according to People. “We kind of skated around it for a long time.”
Platt gushed to Page Six that he still gets giddy over his fiancé.
“I love Noah’s authenticity and purity of conviction,” the actor told us. “And [his] inability to phone things in or to fake [it]. It’s sometimes more difficult but it’s a much more vulnerable and honest way to live.”
Meanwhile, Galvin said of why he loves his beau, “I enjoy the quality of Ben that challenges me to be smarter, to fold my clothing, to bathe regularly.”
Platt then quipped, “So, basically your babysitter.”
Other celebs at the “Theater Camp” screening included Molly Gordon, Amy Sedaris and Marilu Henner, who came in support of her son, Nick Lieberman, the co-directer of the comedy.
