Blake Lively missed the 2023 Met Gala red carpet for mom duty.
As other A-listers headed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the “Gossip Girl” alum snapped a selfie pumping breast milk.
“First Monday in May,” she captioned the Instagram Story upload, adding breast milk GIFs.
Lively, 35, wore a purple sweater and jeans in the silly bathroom snap.
The “Age of Adaline” star confirmed last week that she would not attend Anna Wintour’s annual event despite having made 10 previous appearances.
“You will not [see me there],” she told reporters. “But I will be watching.”
Lively joked that she planned to wear her 2022 Met Gala ensemble, an Atelier Versace gown and gloves, while sitting on her couch.
The actress’ husband, Ryan Reynolds, doubled down on their absence, sharing that they would be across the pond with the soccer team he co-owns with Rob McElhenney.
The “Deadpool” star, 46, explained to “Access Hollywood,” “I think we’ll be in the UK. We have Wrexham business to deal with.”

The couple also have their hands full with four kids, with Page Six breaking the news of their latest’s arrival in February.
The “Green Lantern” co-stars, who married in September 2012, are also the parents of daughters James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3.
Despite missing this year’s gala, Lively made her post-baby red carpet return last month.
The “A Simple Favor” star stunned in a colorful Carolina Herrera dress at Barnard College’s Annual Gala on April 24, followed by a plunging leather look by Brandon Maxwell at the reopening of Tiffany & Co.’s NYC flagship three days later.
