Jamie Foxx returned to Twitter the same day he was spotted sailing down the Chicago River.

The Oscar-winning actor tweeted Sunday for the first time since he was hospitalized for a mysterious health scare in April, writing, “Boat life 🦊 Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn.

“Stay blessed!” he added.

Foxx’s appearance during a promotional event for his Brown Sugar Bourbon brand suggests he is well enough to be getting back to work.

TMZ obtained photos earlier Sunday showing the “White House Down” star, 55, looking vibrant aboard a mega-boat.

Foxx, who also had some family members with him, was filmed waving and greeting fans as they passed by him either on boats or the shoreline.

He has been completely silent about his health since he was first hospitalized in Georgia.

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” his daughter Corinne shared on social media at the time.

“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

Everything we know about Jamie Foxx's hospitalization

When was Foxx hospitalized?

Jamie Foxx was hospitalized in Georgia on April 12 after suffering from a “medical complication,” according to a post on his daughter’s Instagram.

Foxx, now reportedly awake and alert, is still in the hospital nearly three weeks after the undisclosed “medical complication.” Doctors are still running tests to try to figure out what exactly happened.

Family and friends who are close to him are asking fans to pray for him.

What are his family and friends saying?

Corinne Foxx, Jamie’s daughter, wrote, “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” in an Instagram story.

“Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon asked his fans to speak “words of affirmation” over Foxx as he continues to recover.

Martin Lawrence told the media that Foxx was “doing better” and called Foxx “one of the best that we got in Hollywood.”

Actress Kerry Washington posted an appreciation post on her Instagram of her and Foxx after hearing about his hospitalization.

What was Foxx working on before being rushed to the hospital?

Before going to the hospital, Foxx was working on the “Back in Action” movie with actress Cameron Diaz. While Foxx remains in the hospital, Diaz returned to the set to film scenes with Foxx’s body double.

“Beat Shazam,” the game show co-hosted by Foxx and his daughter Corinne, has started filming its new season and found another host to replace Fox, according to reports.

Corinne will not be in the new season as she will be staying by her father’s side at the hospital.

The game show “Beat Shazam” replaced Jamie and Corinne, 29, with fill-in hosts Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne while the “Ray” star recovered.

The casting shakeup prompted Jamie to speak out on Instagram for the first time since his “medical complication.”

“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” he wrote in May, along with emojis of praying hands, a red heart and a fox.

“Appreciate ya my boy @NickCannon,” he added on his Instagram Story. “See u all soon.”

Although the “Horrible Bosses” actor was seeking medical treatment in Georgia, where he had been filming “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz, he was eventually moved to a physical rehabilitation facility in Chicago, where he continued his recovery.

The facility that Jamie checked into specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, spinal cord injury rehab and cancer rehabilitation; however, the Foxx family never specifically shared for what Jamie was being treated.

It also appears Jamie may be seeking outpatient care at this point given his boat ride over the weekend.
