Bruce Willis’ wife is opening up about her husband’s bravery amid his battle with aphasia.

Emma Heming Willis shared a clip on Instagram of the “Die Hard” star singing “Under the Boardwalk” with The Temptations in 1987 and credited him for having the “confidence” to perform with such an iconic group.

“My motto is don’t let the fear stop you. Why? Because fear constantly stops me 😂🙈 Which is another reason I fell for my husband, fear has never stopped him,” Heming wrote alongside the video.

“I mean what kind of next level confidence does it take to sing lead with The Temptations? You can say what you want (and boy have they) but this guy has always been led by his passion and has never let naysayers stop him from, well, anything. And I have so much respect, love and admiration for that man because of it. Enjoy this little ditty that warms my heart ❤️.”

Heming, 43, has been keeping fans updated about Willis’, 67, fight with aphasia, which is a medical condition that can affect a person’s ability to speak, write and understand language, both verbal and written, according to the Mayo Clinic. It typically occurs after a stroke or a head injury.

Just last week, Heming told fans she was also trying to focus on her own needs as well as her husband’s because “when you put everyone’s needs above your own, no one wins.”

“I put my family’s needs above my own, which I found does not make me any kind of hero,” she told The Bump last month.

“That amount of care for everyone else within my household had taken a toll on my mental health and overall health,” she continued. “And it served no one in my family.”

Heming – along with Willis’ ex-wife, Demi Moore, and their kids, Rumer, 33, Scout, 30, and Tallulah, 28 – released a family statement in March revealing the A-lister was retiring from acting in light of the diagnosis.
