Cadbury fans go wild and say 'Christmas has been saved' as brand brings back discontinued treat after a decade | The Sun

CADBURY has bought back a discontinued festive favourite and fans are going wild.

The confectionery giant has relaunched its Christmas chocolate coins, with shoppers chomping at the bit to give them a try.

Cadbury discontinued the chocolate coins in 2014, arguing that the treats weren't profitable because supermarkets sell their own cheaper versions.

Fans proclaimed that the decision had "ruined Christmas" and some even made petitions demanding the coins made a comeback.

After almost a decade, Cadbury stunned everyone by announcing that the golden coins would return to shelves this Christmas.

Sweet-toothed shoppers have been taking to social media to share their excitement to try them once again.
