Queen Camilla looked effortlessly chic in an emerald green ensemble as she attended church with King Charles today.

The royal couple were pictured leaving Crathie Kirk Church in Aberdeenshire following the service this afternoon.

The small parish is where the Royal Family go to worship when they are staying in their Scottish home Balmoral.

The Queen, 75, looked suitably smart in a dark green hat which appeared to have a delicate bow detail.

Camilla opted for a stylish collared jacket in the exact same shade of emerald green.

Offsetting her smart tailoring, the royal opted for a white blouse with a feminine frilled neckline underneath.

What’s more, Camilla kept her makeup neutral for the couple’s outing.

Along with her signature bouncy blow-dry, the Queen opted for a light layer of mascara and a nude lip.

She then finished off her ensemble with some dangly earrings with an amber gem.

Meanwhile, King Charles looked equally smart in a tan longline coat – which he wore over a suit.

Although the couple are often chauffeured to and from the service, King Charles opted drive themselves on this occasion.

The couple regularly attend Sunday services at Crathie Kirk whenever they’re in Scotland.

Last October, King Charles appeared emotional as he acknowledged members of the public who were hoping to catch a glimpse of him en route to Crathie Kirk – just days after the UK’s mourning period for the Queen ended.

Last year, it was reported the King is hoping to turn Balmoral into a public memorial to the Queen by opening it up further to visitors for more of the year.

The Scottish home, where the Queen spent her final days before her death on September 8, will feature exhibitions with a permanent space to honour the late monarch’s legacy.

In fact, under the new plans, King Charles would even allow members of the public to visit while he is staying there, the Telegraph reports.

The royals are expected to continue this tradition of venturing to the Aberdeenshire estate during summer at which point Balmoral would temporarily close to the public.

In recent years, the beautiful estate – thought to be the Queen’s favorite residence – has only been open from April to July.

But it will be open to the public from October to December with no fees and no guided tours to the castle itself ‘as a mark of respect’ to Her Majesty.

A spokesman said: ‘Visitors will be able to visit the grounds and gardens, where they can enjoy the peace and tranquility of this special place and pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.’
