So who will be the “Next Girl”?

Carly Pearce and boyfriend Riley King have broken up after two years of dating, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

“Yes, things didn’t work out,” King tells Page Six. “Carly and I have parted ways and I wish her nothing but the best in both her career and personal life.”

A separate source, however, tells us the country music star and King split over her “trust issues” following her 2020 divorce.

“She has lot of trust issues,” the insider tells us. “She went through that divorce with Michael Ray, and parts of that she’s still coping with and struggling with.”

Our source says that the split from Ray was “really hard for her,” but also suggested that her music constantly being about her divorce “took a toll” on King.

A rep for Pearce didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Although the “What He Didn’t Do” singer, 33, hasn’t publicly commented on the split, she has wiped King, 29, from her Instagram and instead has been promoting her forthcoming single, “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” with Chris Stapleton.

“This song embodies a place that I think, if we are honest with ourselves, we’ve all felt at some point in a relationship,” she captioned her Instagram post announcing the duet.

“The distance that feels heartbreaking, yet you’re also indifferent.”

Pearce and Ray, 35, married in October 2019 in Nashville, Tenn. The marriage lasted only eight months before she filed for divorce.

She later told People that the brief marriage was “singlehandedly the hardest year” of her life.

“I did everything that I knew how to do,” she said. “It takes two people to work on something.”

She never shared the cause of the split, but did cryptically add, “When you love somebody, you trust them.”
