Cheapest shop to buy Baileys this week – and it's not Tesco or Asda | The Sun

BAILEYS is a staple in many people's Christmas shops, but it isn't always the cheapest bottle to get your hands on.

With less than two months to go until the big day, we wanted to let you know the cheapest place this week to buy a litre of the liqueur.

Baileys has always been pretty pricey, usually being sold at around £20 for a litre of its original Irish Cream flavour.

Supermarkets like Aldi and Asda have their own versions available for those looking for a dupe.

But if it's the real thing you're after, you should always check where you can get the most for your money.

As always, remember to check elsewhere in case we missed a cheaper price – there's never a bad time to catch a bargain.

Prices may vary day to day as well depending on what deals are on, and remember to look at delivery costs too if you're ordering online.

There's a really easy-to-use comparison site called Trolley.co.uk, which compares the prices of 130,000 products across 14 major supermarkets.

The Latest Deals app also lets you search items and helps you compare prices at several supermarkets to see where it's cheaper.

When it comes to Baileys, it is always worth noting that it can be cheaper at other times of the year, especially in the run-up to Christmas.

Deal-finding site HotUKDeals has found a huge saving at Morrisons, while also flagging that other places could sell it for less in coming weeks.

The supermarket is selling a litre bottle for £12.99, down from £22.

The offer is available both in stores and online for delivery or click and collect.

You have a little bit of time to bag this offer, the Morrisons website says the price is available when you order before January 1, 2023.

The deal has gained over 2,000 likes and 21 comments since it was posted last night.

One person wrote: "There are many nice Irish cream liqueurs but I think Baileys is worth the extra cost."

Another said: "Every year I panic buy the early baileys orders as I’m scared they’ll not do the £10 deal haha."

Morrisons appears to be the cheapest place to buy a litre of the original Baileys this week – but only for a penny less.

Using Trolley.co.uk, we compared the prices across all major supermarkets.

We found that Asda, Sainsbury's and Ocado are all selling it for £13.

Clubcard holders can also pick it up for that price in Tesco.

As always, remember to check elsewhere in case we missed a cheaper price.
