A graphic designer has poked fun at a woman who asked for a bin lady to be removed from the background of her otherwise perfect photo.
James Fridman, from the UK, received a message from a fan asking him to tweak a photo she recently took in Valencia, Spain.
The image shows the woman, from the Netherlands, posing in the middle of a picturesque square with the city’s Gothic-style cathedral in the background.
But after taking a closer look at the image, the woman says her eye was drawn to a refuse collector wearing a fluorescent orange uniform in the background.
She then saw it as a good opportunity to get in touch with James – who has amassed over 2.4m followers for his very literal and cheeky interpretations of Photoshop requests.
The woman said the colour of the refuse collector’s uniform kept catching her eye and saw it as a good opportunity to get in touch with graphic designer James Fridman
The woman wrote: ‘Hi James, I really like this photo but could you do something about the trash lady?
‘I don’t like the orange in the picture.’
True to form, James did what the woman asked for – but then edited the rest of the photo to reflect what the square would like without refuse collectors.
Sending the image back to her, he simply wrote: ‘Done.’
The edited picture showed the beautiful town square covered in countless bin bags and piles of rubbish.
What’s more, James edited the bins so they were overflowing without the presence of the refuse collector.
As well as adding a giant dirty puddle by the woman’s feet, he also attached a piece of scrap paper to her leg.
Since it was uploaded on his Facebook post earlier this week, James’ edited photo has amassed over 191,000 ‘likes’ and fans used it to stress the importance of the work bin collectors do.

One replied: ‘I love the rubbish stuck to her leg too. Mad respect to the folks who do those jobs.’
Another added: ‘Shout out to all the people who pick up litter/trash/rubbish.
‘Thank you for your service.’
‘Without the cleaning lady, you wouldn’t even see a neat place to take a picture,’ a third said.
A fourth said: ‘People don’t think of the importance of the hard jobs people do which most of us don’t want to do, and in the impact it would have if they were not there.
‘Well pointed out James, a strong message in my opinion!’

However, others said it was clear that the woman in on the James’ joke and wasn’t trying to be disrespectful to the refuse collector.
One supporter said: ‘I think she asked nicely and did not mean any harm for the cleaning lady.
‘Why are people on the internet so annoying these days?’
Another wrote: ‘Anyone else think that she was just requesting the editor to change the color of the sanitation lady’s vest and not eliminate her from the photo?’
Over the past few years, James has delighted social media users with his cheeky takes on their editing requests – including one woman who got more than she bargained for after asking James to move her closer to the camera in a scenic waterfall shot.
