Doctors plastic surgery warning after QQQ boob woman says it could cost life

A plastic surgeon has fired a warning to those considering going under the knife, after the self-proclaimed "Million Dollar Barbie" spoke out against "dangerous" plastic surgery.

Despite spending a fortune on body-changing procedures and still wanting more, reality TV star, model and B movie actress, Lacey Wildd, urged other women to avoid such an "obsession", saying: "It could cost you your life."

The mum-of-six, who prides herself on pushing her body to its limits, including having her boobs boosted to QQQ cups, warned Daily Star readers that having countless plastic surgeries "can be a very dangerous game to play"..

The 54-year-old, from Florida, US, said her most recent $27,000implantscost her $40,000 to fix after one ruptured, leaving her with one boob for six months.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, she was unable to find a doctor to fix her problem and "hit rock bottom" in the meantime.

Luckily for Lacey, after a six-month wait, and raising the required funds, she managed to have her QQQ dream fixed.

And yet, despite all this, she insisted she's not done, revealing plans to undergo another job to get TTT boobs.

Lacey admitted that her extreme appearance has come at a cost.

To support her enhancements, she has had to have pig skin sewed inside her abdomen and also has to sleep at a 30-degree angle – or she feels like she "is being suffocated".

Following Wildd's warnings plastic surgeon Dr Omar Tillo said: "It’s your health and wellbeing on the line, so you must be informed and make a personal decision if the risks are genuinely worth it for you."

Dr Tillo, who is also the Medical Director at CREO Clinic, spoke of the major risks associated with travelling for cosmetic procedures.

He said: "No matter how luxurious a plastic surgery holiday may seem, there are major risks associated with travelling for cosmetic procedures."

"Sadly, the cosmetic surgery tourism industry is not above massaging the truth to lure patients to medical tourism hotspots, including Turkey, Poland or Thailand.

"Unscrupulous online marketing tactics are unregulated, meaning that the hundreds of positive reviews you see on consumer sites could be fake."

"There are different criteria in other countries as well as different medical societies and organisations that monitor and maintain medical standards.

"This, plus distance and any translating wants and needs from one language to another, can make it incredibly difficult to determine a surgeon’s level of certification.

"Even if a surgeon is highly skilled, a patient may find that their expectations for their results are still difficult to communicate when they’re in a different country or time zone to their surgeon without even considering a language barrier."

Dr Tillo also sounded caution about flying soon after surgery, adding: "Many medical tourists will forget about the return journey and the complications that can come with long-distance travel following a recent surgery.

"Flying within the same week of a cosmetic procedure can greatly increase the chances of blood clots, which could lead to deep vein thrombosis or a pulmonary embolism.

"Even without complications, the majority of patients experience a variety of expected and unexpected symptoms or concerns in the first weeks after surgery.

"It is essential that these patients discuss these issues clearly with their care providers and have a physical examination to check for any problems and complications.

"Overseas clinics often provide short period follow-up and do not provide follow-up treatments. It is impossible to perform a physical examination if needed without travelling back."
