Ex-model Yasmin Mills has become engaged to ‘eco-chef’ Justin Horne after he proposed on a speedboat in the Med.
‘We’ve decided to get hitched,’ says Yasmin, 57, who was previously married to TV producer and man-about-town Simon Mills. ‘He proposed, having surprised me with a romantic picnic on a speedboat in Ibiza.’
Yasmin, whose friends include fashion designer Julien Macdonald, pop star Sophie Ellis Bextor and Bake Off co-host Noel Fielding, met Horne at a party hosted by make-up guru Charlotte Tilbury.
Last month, one of her two daughters with Simon, Maddie Mills, made her big-screen debut in a short film alongside Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels star Nick Moran.
Ex-model Yasmin Mills has announced in a joint Instagram post that she is engaged to eco-chef Justin Horne
It comes after journalist Simon Mills wrote about how the divorce had affected him in the Daily Mail last year.
He said: ‘My divorce muted me. I became an introverted, miserable, hermetic bore. I saw no one. I worked. I drank red wine.’
Mr Mills revealed how the pair had separated and a period of 18 months had followed before their divorce was finalised.
The socialite, 57, revealed her fiancé had popped the question while they were holidaying in Ibiza
Posting photos on Instagram to announce her engagement, Yasmin wrote of her joy.
She said: ‘After a chance meeting @charlottetilbury party was followed by seven years of laughter & adventures with my love Justin Horne.
‘Instead of getting the ‘itch’, we’ve decided to get hitched!!

‘But after several family losses at that time, we feel now is the time to share our happy news that we plan to carry on those adventures together for many moons to come!’
