Now, a source has told DailyMail.com that the star – who had a brief stint in reality television during the early 2000s, starring in a slew of shows alongside her then-husband – may be plotting a major TV comeback.
They explained that the options for work are slim amid the current actors and writers strikes, and that reality TV or a competition show could pose as an ‘opportunity’ for her to finally ‘tell her truth.’

The actress and her estranged husband, Dean, previously starred in a series of Oxygen reality shows including Tori & Dean: Inn Love, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings, and Tori & Dean: Cabin Fever from 2007 to 2014, which followed the early years of their marriage as they took on various endeavors.
The insider added that while Tori is desperate for ‘a more consistent flow of money to come in,’ she still ‘wants to be a mom first.’
‘Scheduling is very important to her,’ they continued. ‘As she tries to get on future shows, it all has to work out perfectly with her family.
‘She is not desperate yet but let us see what happens in the next few months and what she might have to do to … make things work.’

Tori was raised by one of most successful TV producers on the globe, and famously lived in in the second largest abode in all of Los Angeles as a teen.
She was propelled into the spotlight after she was cast in Beverly Hills, 90210 at just 17, but in the years since the show went off the air, she’s racked up tens of thousands of dollars in credit card debt.
The star has been very open about her financial struggles over the years, previously telling Good Morning America that after she was cast in the hit series, her parents told her she was on her own financially.
She explained that she had a hard time managing her funds – which she believed stemmed from growing up with a lot of money.
‘In all honesty, I grew up a certain way. I never had to worry about money … that was my reality,’ she said.
When her dad died in 2006, Tori only received $800,000 of the estimated $600 million fortune that was left behind by her late father.
In 2016, she was sued by American Express for failing to pay an outstanding credit card balance of $87,594.55. According to court documents, the money was ‘seized’ from her bank account in 2020.
Tori and her husband were also hit with a lawsuit from City National Bank later that year, who claimed they had ‘failed to repay a $400,000 bank loan.’ That case is still ongoing.
