Fish and rice cakes guy is now absolutely ripped and says he cant stand fish

A man who went viral for his iconic "fish and rice cake" diet has revealed his incredible transformation after intensive four-month training.

Danny Andrews rose to fame in 2007 on the BBC Three documentary Babyfaced Bodybuilders after sharing his stringent diet — fish and rice cakes — ahead of the Mr Cumbria bodybuilder competition.

He famously told the presenter: "At eight o’clock in the morning, I’ll have fish and a rice cake. At 10 o’clock, I’ll have fish.

"At 12 o’clock, I’ll have fish and a rice cake. At two o’clock, I’ll have fish.

"At four o’clock, just before I train, I’ll have fish and a rice cake.

"I’ll train and I’ll have me fish and I’ll come home, have some more fish with a rice cake and then have some fish before I go to bed and that’s it for the day."

Fast forward 15 years and Danny, now 31, works as a barber in Preston but has kept his passion of bodybuilding – and looks absolutely ripped.

Danny has been hitting the gym regularly with a focus on muscle building on his arms and legs.

He can now lift 60kg in dumbbell press and 183kg bench press.

Fans were surprised when they saw his much leaner build and toned muscles.

Asked if he followed his "fish and rice cakes" diet, he said: "Mate the diet isn’t far off. No carbs just meat.

"No fish though, can’t stand the stuff haha."

One said: "Glad to see you back great shape brother."

Another joked: "So this is what fish and rice cakes get you!"
