Actor Kyle Shilling is best known for his role in Home and Away as Mali Hudson.
Mali is the brother of Elandra Hudson, the boyfriend of Rose Delaney, and best friend of Dean Thompson. He took over the board shop after Dean’s departure.
Kyle plays the Australian soap’s first ever Indigenous main character after joining the cast in January 2023, and he’s extremely proud of his heritage.
Away from the soap, actor Kyle has a successful career as a rapper, and also loves spending time in the gym maintaining his buff physique.

Kyle is also a rapper, who goes by the stage name BLACX.
The actor and rapper has a dedicated music Instagram page, titled KyleShillingMusic.
Posting snaps of him recording music in a recording studio, as well as snippets from recorded tracks, the Australian actor was incredibly active on the account prior to joining Home & Away.

One YouTube video which sees him sing, rap and star in a music video for the track titled SOCKS and THONGS.
The upbeat track was uploaded onto YouTube in July 2018.
His dedicated music page on Instagram was last active in May 2019, with him now far more active on his personal account – blacx_13_kyleshilling – which has more than 12,000 followers.

His musical talents don’t end there, as Kyle showed his followers he can also proudly play the didgeridoo.

When he announced he was joining the soap, Kyle took to his main Instagram account and wrote: "It’s official ladies and gentleman. Stoked to be part of the amazing family/team of Home and Away.
"It’s been nothing but an absolute privilege to work with everyone involved. Can’t wait for you all to see the story of Mali Hudson."

He appears to be extremely close to his family, including his adorable nephew. Sharing several snaps of him holding the tot, he said: "Couldn’t pick, so here’s 5 of me being an uncle to my first little nephew Yarbirri."

He works hard to maintain his toned physique and sometimes shares clips of his workout routines with his 12.4K Instagram followers. One video showed him doing a full body workout in the gym. He captioned the post: "Doing my thing thanks to @jtrainathletic."
