I don't want my ex in my life so I'm hiding this pregnancy | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: I DISCOVERED I was pregnant just weeks after splitting up with my cheating ex.

I don’t want him back in my life but do I have to tell him about this baby?

I am 34 and my ex is 35. We were together for three years.

It took a lot for me to trust in him as I was horribly let down by my previous partner who I’d been with for 11 years.

I told him I was only looking for something serious and he still pursued me and was a gentleman but looking back, he was lying the whole time.

I discovered he was on dating sites and talking to other women. He probably met them, too – although I have no proof.

We weren’t living together but we spent most nights at my flat. He has moved straight on and is now in another relationship.

I have blocked him and deleted him on all my social media.

DEIDRE SAYS:  There is no legal requirement to tell your ex you are pregnant.

But if you do decide to have his baby, he does have an obligation to support his child financially at the very least.

If you think you can manage as a single parent and you don’t need his financial support, you could say nothing, but he may want to be a dad to his child.

A bad partner isn’t always a bad father. Talk it through with gingerbread.org.uk (0808 802 0925), who support single parents.
