DEAR DEIDRE: I HAD an anxiety attack at a friend’s 30th birthday party but she hasn’t been in touch since to check on me.
I am a 29-year-old woman and my partner is 31.
Things have been a bit rocky with my friend lately, but I still wanted to go to her party.
But it took a nasty turn when two male guests started arguing aggressively.
I felt overwhelmed with everything and ended up having an anxiety attack.
My partner told my friend what happened to me, but she hasn’t been in touch.
This is not the first time she has behaved like this.
My partner’s dad died suddenly six months ago, following a heart attack, and she didn’t bother to check if he was all right then.
