A bride has revealed she was left cringing by her wedding video that featured ‘shaky’ footage of her special day, noting that she felt ‘scammed.’
Brooke Covey, 23, from Nashville, Tennessee, took to TikTok to lament about her wedding day video that was filmed and edited by the wedding videographer she hired.
And while she was promised a 4K, high-resolution clip with expert editing, she was ‘scammed’ with a video that featured poor quality footage.
In a viral video, which has amassed over 1.7 million views, Brooke shared the footage from the special day that saw her and her husband, Caleb, 23, tying the knot, as she complained about the camera work.

‘He told me it was 4K, there’s not even 400 pixels on it, he told me that he thinks it’s the best quality he has ever done [and] put in 30 hours of editing so I just want to see if I’m crazy and what everybody else thinks,’ he said at the beginning of the clip.
She then showed the video beginning with her rehearsal dinner.
The clip showed a few moments of her ‘five-hour-long’ rehearsal dinner before cutting straight into her ceremony.
One video of the clip showed the bridesmaid walking down the aisle before suddenly disappearing out of thin air like ‘Casper the ghost.’
Brooke zoomed in and showed viewers the poor quality of the video, which she called ‘shaky.’
The video cut to the moment Brooke walked down the aisle, ‘Look at the shakiness,’ the bride said.
Brooke complained about the music that the videographer added into the clip of her walking down the aisle.
‘What the f*** is that?’ Brooke said.
In addition to the music being something she would have never chosen for her special day, the bride also said the audio was completely off.

Brooke revealed she paid a whopping $1,200 for the videography package, which the person they hired initially said was between $800 and $1,000
‘The audio doesn’t match. What we’re saying has nothing to do with our mouths moving. He didn’t even mic us,’ she revealed.
And those weren’t the only times the video was botched.
The bride and groom’s first dance was shot from afar, making it grainy, Brooke fell during one moment and he didn’t edit it out, and he even kept in an awkward encounter Brooke had with the photographer.
During Brooke and Caleb’s reception exit, they had their guests holding up sparklers as they embraced to capture a sweet photo.
At one point, the photographer asked the couple to do it again to get additional photos.
Instead of editing out the clip of the bride and groom walking back and forth and getting a peak at the camera while chatting with the photographer, he kept it in.
Brooke revealed she paid a whopping $1,200 for the videography package, which the person they hired initially said was between $800 and $1,000.
‘He said the only reason it would be $1,000 is if he mic’d us. And he didn’t even mic us and ended up charging us $1,200,’ the bride said.
Brooke begged for viewer’s opinions on the clip, with thousands of people slamming the wedding footage and even comparing it to ‘security camera footage’
After being left horrified by the production of her wedding, Brooke confronted the videographer.
‘He said that this is the best work he’s done, he spent 30 hours editing this, he put a lot of work into this, he’s never had a complaint and so, he doesn’t feel it’s as bad as we say it is,’ Brooke revealed.
The videographer even thought he should’ve charged the newlyweds ‘$4,000.’
Brooke begged for viewer’s opinions on the clip, with thousands of people slamming the wedding footage and even comparing it to ‘security camera footage.’
‘It looks like security camera footage!’ one person said.
Another user said: ‘Did he use a Ring camera?’
‘As someone who works in the wedding photography industry I’m crying for you,’ said another person.
One user added: ‘This looks like my dad filming with our $50 camera circa 1996.’
