Liam Fox first appeared on our screens as Dan Spencer in Emmerdale back in 2011 and he's remained on the soap ever since.
The actor, 53, was initially contracted for just eight episodes, but he was soon offered a spot as a soap regular with Dan becoming a prominent character in the fictitious village.
However, Liam's time on the ITV soap is soon set to come to an end after 12 years, with Dan facing a lengthy prison sentence after he was charged with manslaughter following the death of daughter Amelia's stalker Lloyd Sawyer.

Liam, who hails from Manchester, appeared in both Coronation Street and Dinnerladies before joining the cast of Emmerdale on a permanent basis in 2011.
Prior to taking on the role of Dan, Liam appeared in Emmerdale on three other occasions; Les (1993) and PC Tyrell (2002–2003) and Officer Price (2004).
Liam's wife, Joanna Hudson, is also a familiar face, having previously starred in Emmerdale as Ross Barton's doctor in September 2018.
Liam and Joanna, who first dated while studying at university before getting back together later in life, tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in 2020, surrounded by their loved ones and many fellow soap stars.
The couple's extravagant nuptials were covered exclusively by OK!, with the star-studded bash including a choreographed dance routine, reindeer, a unique cake and lots of laughs.
Joanna looked incredible in a flowing white gown complete with a custom made cape by Claire Martin, and Denise van Outen's daughter Betsy was one of her flower girls.
Speaking about her friendship with TV presenter Denise, 49, the actress said: "I met Denise Van Outen while I was doing entertainment at children’s parties, and ended up doing all of Betsy’s parties when she was younger. Then we just became friends.
"The other flower girl May is Denise’s goddaughter. They are the loveliest girls."
Joanna and Liam's big day had many personalised touches, including a fun first dance, a balloon VW van and their own hashtag – #Joxy.
Prior to marrying Joanna, Liam was married to Nicole Barber-Lane. The former couple tied the knot in 1999 before going on to divorce in 2015. Liam shares two children with ex-wife Nicole.
