Inside Louise Thompson’s fiancé Ryan Libbey’s birthday celebrations as she says she’s ‘lucky to be alive by his side’

Reality star Louise Thompson has given fans an inside glimpse into her birthday celebrations for fiancé Ryan Libbey as the love of her life turned 32 earlier this week.

The Made In Chelsea star shared a heartfelt post to mark the occasion on social media, as she shared a series of photos of Ryan alongside their son Leo-Hunter.

Praising the doting dad as “the best dad and partner she could ask for”, Louise went on to express her gratitude at being able to spend the day alongside him as they celebrate another year in the world together.

Starting the post with a soft message, Louise wrote: “Happy birthday to without a doubt the best egg I know."

“@ryan.libbey Today I’m feeling incredibly lucky to be alive and to be standing by your side.

“I get to spend the day with you in person which means I can wax lyrical to your face about how amazing you are and whisper all the gushy words that I know you’d rather I didn’t share over insta or in public because contrary to the world of TV and social media you’re a particularly private guy.”

She continued: “Having said that, I want to share a quick note because everyone needs to know how great you are and to wish you happy birthday in the comments… firstly, the world would be a much better place with more you’s in it.

“You are the best dad and partner I could ask for. In fact I don’t know what I would do without you, I freak out at the thought, but I won’t make this about me or about this mental journey we’re on, instead today is about spoiling youuuuuuuu and making sure you have the best bloody birthday as a first time dad as poss.

“I hope you relax and laugh lots and lots”, signing off the tribute “Love you to the moon and back”.

Yet the heartfelt message was just the beginning of Louise’s tribute to her partner, as she also updated her Instagram stories to show just how they were marking the day together as a family.

In one snap, Louise shared a photo of Ryan and Leo-Hunter cuddled up together in matching England football kits, just days after seeing the Lionesses soar to victory in the UEFA finals on Sunday.

Hinting at a future in the sport, the post was captioned “Leo’s present to daddy…A promise to make the England squad.”

Tongue in cheek message aside, the happy family also shared a delicious breakfast in bed together, with Leo and Ryan seen cuddled up once again as they sat beside a series of green hued balloons and a Happy Birthday gift bag.

Treated to a slap up meal that contained fruit juice, pastries, fruit and of course a bottle for little Leo, Ryan appeared to be enjoyed every minute of his special day as they enjoyed the birthday celebrations together as a family.

The cheerful celebration will be a welcome change for the couple, who have been rocked by Louise’s continued ill health in recent weeks, leading to her being admitted to hospital back in July after receiving some concerning blood test results.

Although no further information was revealed, it is just the latest in a long string of health difficulties to have plagued the young mum, after she suffered PTSD as a result of a traumatic birth while delivering Leo-Hunter last year.

Ryan too, also suffers from PTSD, with the star even explaining that he “still lies awake all night” to check on her and “probably feels guilty” that he couldn’t help more at the time of Leo’s birth.
