Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck officially became husband and wife last weekend, tying the knot with an intimate Las Vegas wedding – 20 years after they first got together – and it seems they’ve celebrated their nuptials by splashing the cash on a very lavish new abode.

The two stars were spotted house hunting back in May, and in June, TMZ reported that they had settled on a stunning Beverly Hills mansion that was once owned by Danny DeVito.

According to the outlet, one of Lopez’s luxury vehicles was parked outside the massive estate, along with a hoard of moving trucks.

And while it cannot be confirmed whether or not the married couple had purchased the home, moving vehicles were also reportedly spotted outside of each of their respective homes, leading many to believe that they had moved into the mansion together.

But where will the newlyweds live now that they’re married? The two stars were spotted house hunting back in May, and in June, TMZ reported that they had settled on a stunning Beverly Hills mansion that was once owned by Danny DeVito

Lopez and Affleck’s rumored new abode was most recently owned by Australian billionaire James Packer, who’s the former fiancé of Mariah Carey. Other previous residents include DeVito and his ex-wife, Matilda alum Rhea Perlman.

DeVito and Perlman sold the seven-bedroom home in 2015 for $28 million to developers Stuart and Stephanie Liner. The Liners then made numerous upgrades to the estate and listed it for $85 million. Packer then bought the property for around $60 million in 2018.

It’s unclear what Lopez and Affleck paid for the house, and there’s a shroud of mystery surrounding the alleged deal, since the house was not even listed for sale when they reportedly bought it.

In fact, real estate experts told TMZ that it hadn’t even been shown off-market, with the exception, potentially, being to Lopez and Affleck.

The house sprawls across 29,000-square-feet, which would allow ample space for the couple’s blended brood.

The Jenny from the Block songstress shares 14-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while the Good Will Hunting star is the father to daughters Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13 and son Samuel, 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

The massive estate is also said to have many luxury amenities and perks, including an at-home movie theater, a hair salon, a gym, an entertainment room, a wine cellar, a sprawling pool, and even multiple guest houses.

The marble kitchen is a cook’s dream – it comes complete with two ovens, an 11-burner stove, two islands, and multiple drawers and cabinets for optimal storage space.

The spacious dining area can seat up to 12 people, so the family will certainly have enough space to stretch out during dinner time.

The master bedroom looks like it’s fit for a queen, and comes with an enormous walk-in closet with rows upon rows of storage for the couple’s glamorous wardrobes.

The mansion sits on 1.29 acres of land, and it also comes complete with an eight-car garage.

The couple was spotted shopping for homes around various swanky areas of Los Angeles for several months before reportedly making the purchase.

Some of the houses that peaked their interest were listed above the $85 million mark, so this deal seems to be well within the couple’s price range.

After meeting on the set of the film Gigli two decades ago – in 2002 – the two movie stars soon began dating, and their romance became one of the most talked about pairings of the early 2000s.

They went on to star in a few other movies together, including Jersey Girl and Manufacturing Dissent.

The actor eventually proposed with a six-carat, pink, diamond ring, and the twosome planned a lavish September 2003 wedding in Santa Barbara.

However, just days before the wedding, the duo announced that they were postponing it. Months later, they shocked the world when they ended their romance.

But then, nearly 20 years after going their separate ways, the pair reconciled in May 2021. Affleck then popped the question again in early 2022 with an enormous, green rock.

The pair confirmed that they had tied the knot over the weekend via the singer’s On the JLo newsletter, with Lopez calling it the ‘best night of their lives,’ adding, ‘We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. 20 years patient.’
