Kate Upton Makes Double What She Paid Selling Home To Timothée Chalamet

Timothée Chalamet is the new owner of Kate Upton and Justin Verlander’s Beverly Hills mansion. He bought the property for $11 million.

The property features 1.5 acres of land and a mansion with over 5,500 square feet of living space. It was originally built in 1976 but has been completely remodelled in the time since to give it a modern feel.

The property sits behind a gated community in Benedict Canyon and is surrounded by lush foliage, offering maximum privacy.

The home comes with a maid’s room, and a bonus room with its own entrance. The newly remodelled kitchen features its own wet bar, while the master suite has a fireplace in addition to his-and-her closets. It also features a variety of outdoor amenities, including a pool with spa, tennis court, and several open-air lounge areas.

Justin and Kate only lived in the home for a few years before putting it on the market. They originally bought it in 2016 for $5.3 million – meaning they made double what they paid for in the recent real estate deal.

However, the couple were hoping to get more for the home. They originally listed it for $11.7 million, before agreeing to Timothée’s lower offer.

The home has had a long list of celebrity owners, including Musician Kenny G, tennis champion Pete Sampras, producer Jon Peters, Charlie’s Angels alum Kate Jackson, and producer-director William Asher.

There are also plenty of celebrities who live within walking distance, including Vin Diesel, John Mayer, Cameron Diaz, and Eva Longoria.

Reports say Justin and Kate are relocating to Florida, where they bought a $6 million estate in Palm Beach County that sits on the water. Sitting on 1.1 acres of land, the home comes with more than 4,600 square feet of living space, including 4 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.

However, this may not be a long-term home. In 2020, the couple purchased a 2-acre plot of land on the ocean near Loxahatchee River in Jupiter (only a few miles from their current Florida home) for $3 million.

Justin and Kate are reportedly in the process of building a custom home on the plot.

Though Timothée is the proud new owner of a Beverly Hills estate, he’ll still be splitting his time between California and New York, where he rents an apartment in Manhattan.
