Hindsight is 20/20 for Katie Maloney.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star revealed her ex-husband, Tom Schwartz, actually dropped her a hint about Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval’s affair before the betrayal made headlines in March.
Maloney told “Off the Vine” podcast listeners Thursday that she confronted Schwartz about Leviss “following [him] around like a puppy dog” at BravoCon in October 2022.
“She wore this TomTom hoodie and everyone was commenting how bizarre it was,” the 36-year-old told co-hosts Kaitlyn Bristowe and Lo VonRumpf, referencing the name of Schwartz and Sandoval’s bar.
“She went to the Tom and Tom panel and sat in the front row,” Maloney continued. “I thought it was about him because I thought she was after him.”

However, Schwartz cryptically said, “She wasn’t there for me. Trust me.’”
The comment “kind of stuck” with Maloney, who “started putting things together” and replied, “Say less. I get it.”
Before news broke of the affair — dubbed Scandoval — the “You’re Gonna Love Me” podcast host noticed her co-stars’ “suspicious” friendship.
“I had seen on forums that she had gone to one of his shows in Sonoma but didn’t post that she was there, which is weird because she is normally front-row bopping around [like] the No. 1 fangirl,” Maloney recalled.
At the time, the Bravolebrity found it “odd” and “weird” that Leviss’ friends didn’t know that she attended the November 2022 show in northern California.
Maloney previously told “Viall Files” listeners that the former pageant queen and Sandoval “reeked” of an affair, calling Leviss “thick-skulled.”
She explained, “There was something off about the situation.”
While Maloney officially found out last month that Sandoval had cheated on Ariana Madix, Schwartz knew in August 2022 that his best friend had hooked up with Leviss — but was under the impression it was a “one-night stand.”
In a “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” appearance last week, he claimed that Sandoval, 40, didn’t admit he was “in love” with Leviss, 28, until January.
“I was flabbergasted but not surprised,” he said. “There [are] a lot of people out there who kind of knew it was an open secret.”
Sandoval also sat down for his first interview earlier this week, describing his “magnetic” first kiss with Leviss and accusing Madix, 37, of being “blind” to his infidelity.
As for his current relationship with Leviss, the cover band frontman said on Tuesday’s episode of the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff Podcast” that they’re “not putting any label on it” and are “just kind of taking a break.”
Leviss’ rep told us Friday that she has checked into a facility for mental health treatment, a decision made “months before the relationship was discovered.”
