Lindsay Lohan’s mother and sister are overjoyed for her transition into motherhood.
Following the news that the “Parent Trap” star welcomed her first child with husband Bader Shammas, Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan, revealed that she couldn’t be more excited.
“Overwhelmed with love and joy!” Dina told People. “My flight is today, so excited. He came two days early.”
Meanwhile, the actress’ sister, Aliana Lohan, had also gushed to the outlet about Lindsay’s pregnancy, weeks before the “Mean Girls” star gave birth.
“My sister is an actual angel on earth. She’s one of the most caring, kind, humble, brilliant, stunningly beautiful, talented people,” Aliana told People.

“I’m not just saying that because she’s my sister. She’s incredible, and she’s a born mama. I love her so much, and I really look up to her so much.”
Lindsay’s other siblings include brothers Dakota and Michael Jr., who has a 2-year-old daughter named Isabel.
“I’m so happy for her,” Aliana continued, explaining that she already has “so much” love for her niece.
Page Six confirmed Monday that Lindsay welcomed her first child — a baby boy named Luai — with Shammas.
“The family is over the moon in love,” her rep said in a statement.
The couple’s son was born in Dubai, where they live. The exact date of his birth has not been shared.
Luai is an Arabic name meaning “shield” or “protector.”
Lindsay and Shammas went public with their relationship in February 2020. Just a year later, the financier proposed to the “Rumors” singer.
“My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love,” Lindsay wrote via Instagram while showcasing her engagement ring.
The couple tied the knot in April 2022. Lindsay later confirmed the marriage three months later.
She was previously engaged to real estate mogul Egor Tarabasov in 2016.
