PARENTS are only just realising there’s a quick and easy way to remove kids’ temporary tattoos and all you need is an everyday household item.

Youngsters may love getting the colourful temporary tattoos, especially on a fun day out, but can look messy after a day or two as they wear away.


However, parents need to know about a really simple way to remove them that just takes seconds to do and is pain free.

Ryan Adams, the TikTok user known as “Watchmyhaircut” has 16.9million followers and took to the social media site to reveal all.

The footage begins with a young girl showing off a small temporary tattoo on her hand.

Then Ryan pops up with the little tattoos on his face and neck.

He’s also holding a roll of clear tape and he cuts off a strip and places it over the temporary tattoo on his neck.

Ryan then counts down, 3-2-1, and then gently peels off the strip which also takes the tattoo with it.

He then says: “It works!”

Video has been watched more than 190,000 times and picked up more than 320 comments.

Many commentators said they wished they had known about this when they were young.

One person said: “I wish people told me when I was a kid. I have hairy arms so whenever I did have those fake tattoos my mum would take a sponge and scratch.”

Another added: “I wish I knew this as a kid when I put 100+ all over my body.”

A third wrote: “OMG. When I was young I had one of those stuck to my forehead for three weeks, easy.”

A fourth person said that the hack didn’t work for all temporary tattoos.

Others gave their own advice, with one claiming that baby oil also worked while someone said that a peel-off face mask also did the trick.
