Shayne Jansen is defending “Love Is Blind” hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey after the controversial Season 4 reunion.

The reality star, who appeared on Season 2 of the hit Netflix show, called the Lacheys “extremely nice” during a Q&A on his Instagram story Wednesday after fans called for them to be removed as hosts of the series.

“Is Vanessa always like that? The reunion was embarrassing for her IMO,” wrote one fan, to which Jansen replied, “They were the nicest humans during my experience.”

The real estate broker, 33, said that his mom, who died last October, “loved Vanessa.”

“And Nick shot the s–t with us talking football etc,” he added. “They were extremely nice.”

Jansen’s defense of the couple comes after Nick, 49, and Vanessa, 42, faced heavy backlash for their interviewing style on the heavily-delayed reunion.

“This Reunion just feels so awkward. Doesn’t seem like there is any flow, hosts way too biased, it’s just weird,” one viewer wrote on Twitter, while another added that Netflix needed to “swiftly fire” the couple.

A growing number of viewers called out Nick and Vanessa — who share children Camden, 10, Brooklyn, 8, and Phoenix, 6 — for their “bias” against some of the cast, prompting fans to even create a petition to replace the two as hosts.

The petition, titled “Remove Nick and Vanessa Lachey as the Hosts of Love Is Blind,” has amassed more than 26,000 signatures on Change.org.

Season 4 alum Paul Peden shared Wednesday that he received apology flowers from the “NCIS: Hawaiʻi” star after fans called her out for grilling him on his decision not to marry Micah Lussier.

“Thanks for acknowledging the accidental misleading,” the Netflix star captioned a snap on his Instagram story, showcasing a bouquet of red roses that he received from Vanessa.

Fans believed she showed an apparent bias against Peden and sympathy towards his ex-fiancée after the environmental scientist explained that he chose not to marry Lussier because he couldn’t see her as a mother.

Peden clarified his controversial statement during the reunion, saying, “I think a better way to phrase that is I can’t envision us as parents.”

Nick and Vanessa — who have hosted “Love Is Blind” since the show’s inception in 2020 — have not yet commented on the public backlash regarding the reunion episode. The former “TRL” host even turned off comments on an Instagram post following the show.

“Love Is Blind” Season 4 is available to stream on Netflix.
