Love Island presenter Maya Jama was the talk of Twitter on Monday as fans clasped eyes on her liquid-look burgundy dress.
Back in South Africa for the dating phenomenon's grand finale, the 28 year old was joined by this year's four remaining hopefuls live on TV: Tom Clare and Sami Elishi, Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins, and Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan.
Despite the evening wind doing a bit of a number on her hair, Maya was showered with compliments over on the social media platform, as two fans wrote: "Obsessed with @MayaJama's look this final!!" and "Maya Jama is about to look the best anyone has ever looked tonight".
"Not Maya Jama dressing like a red cabbage and still looking unreal #loveisland #loveislandfinal #loveislanduk," joked somebody else, while another couple added: "Maya Jama looks stunning in her final outfit [two fire emojis]" and "you know if i looked like maya jama i’d never complain about anything ever again".
"Nobody does it like maya jama", "@MayaJama looks stunning. What a fabulous dress!!! #LoveIslandUK" and "MAYA JAMA AND THAT DRESS," read three more reactions.
While another wrote: "Big shout out for Maya’s dress. Stunning. Like a melted candle. #LoveIsland."
The dress, which was styled by Maya's stylist Rhea, is a bespoke look by fashion brand Di Petsa.
Meanwhile, the popular TV presenter (who replaced Laura Whitmore last October) could be in for a seismic 2023, according to celebrity psychic Sally Morgan.
"Maya will absolutely smash her presenting job on Love Island," Sally accurately predicted during an exclusive chat to OK! at the tail end of last year. "She'll win over the audience and will be offered an even bigger presenting role on ITV later in the year because of it."
Addressing the broadcaster's decision to bring Maya onboard the Love Island machine, ITV's director of reality programming Paul Mortimer previously shared in a statement: "Finding a new host to follow the wonderful Laura Whitmore was never going to be easy.
"In Maya Jama though, we have another high-profile fan of the show who'll be a great addition to the Love Island family.
"Cool, charming and charismatic, I speak for us all when I say Maya will also bring a unique presenting style to the show, as did Laura and, of course, the very much missed Caroline Flack. We’re very pleased to have her on board."
Lifted Entertainment's managing director Richard Cowles also weighed in with: "There are very few people who could fill the role of Love Island host but Maya Jama has it all and we're very excited to welcome her to Love Island.
"Not only is she a fantastic presenter but she is a massive fan of the show. The cast and viewers alike will be thrilled to see her enter the villa!"
