Love Island fans were left in hysterics after ITV host Maya Jama warned Tom Clare that he was “punching” above his weight with bombshell Samie Elishi.
On Monday (March 13), loyal fans tuned into the highly anticipated grand final as they eagerly waited to see which loved-up couple would be crowned the next winners of the hugely popular dating show.
For their final day in the villa, the contestants were treated to a lavish spa day before they got all dolled up for the Love Island ball where they declared their love for each other before dancing the night away.
But after watching the Islanders romantic day in the South African villa, the loveable TV host reunited with the final four couples as she shared her thoughts on how their relationships have blossomed across the eight series.
After listening to their romantic speeches, Maya joined the group around the fire pit where she confessed to Northern hunk Tom that he is “punching a little bit [with Samie] but you’re doing well.”
It didn't take long before fans flooded to Twitter to chuckle at the brutally honest comment online, as one user penned: "Maya telling Tom he's punching HAHAHAHAHAHA #loveisland."
Another agreed: "'Punching a little bit' no a lot [crying emoji] #loveisland," as another echoed: "Maya saying Tom is punching I love her #loveisland."
