Love Islands Jay Younger: All you need to know about the bombshell

Monday’s episode ofLove Islandfeatured plenty of drama, with Afia Tonkmor being dumpedfrom the villa and the arrival of two brand new male bombshells being teased.

Jay YoungerandRemi Lambert will make their grand entrances in Tuesday's episode and 28 year old Jay has already claimed he “genuinely has what most females want," so it's only a matter of time before the investment analyst stirs things up.

He explained: “I’ve got a good job, I think I am a good looking lad and I have a lot of fun so I feel like I could add a lot of value to their lives if they add a lot of value to mine.”

Hailing from Edinburgh, the fitness buff, who calls his dating history “very unpredictable”, has explained why he decided to go in the villa to find love.

“I think I am at the point in my life where it would be quite fun to find someone and have fun along the way," he said. "And doing it in Mallorca and in the Villa would be a great opportunity, so why not?”

Jay is a keen sportsman and a glimpse at his Instagram tells the tale of his transformation.

Looking back to 2015, he showed a snap of himself tensing his muscles during a 400m race.

He took that further and in the future competed in many sporting competitions including the National Fitness Games where his team came second.

While there are plenty of famous links to those in the villa,Jay’s grandad is something of a sporting hero.

“My grandad played for Liverpool and he was captain of Scotland back in the 1950s. He was in the hall of fame for Liverpool and he was in the hall of fame for Hibernian F.C.”

Gemma Owen's dad is iconic football star Michael Owen, and Liam Llewellyn's dad David Llewelyn played rugby for Wales in the 1999 World Cup.

Jay is older brother to Tom and often shares pictures of the two on holiday to his grid.

Jay has also admitted he’s “not afraid of breaking up a couple" asfans have speculated about a possible twist coming in the villa, and admitted to being competitive, but he insists he’s supportive too, stating: "I think I am going to be a supportive Islander, I think I am going to bring a lot of fun.

“Hopefully some good laughs along the way and maybe some indecisive decisions.”

He touched upon being indecisive and why that may be a factor in him being single: “I’ve just been very indecisive. I think I am just not one to settle down easily.”

The star is no stranger to having fun and hopes his friends and family agree too: “They would probably describe me as quite unassuming but they’d say I am probably the heart of the party.”

While we await to see who he couples up with, Jay’s means of impressing a girl are simple: “Just be myself, I would just try and make them laugh and smile and hopefully I can do that.”

Jay explains what gives him the ick: “Someone who is quite needy. I quite like self sufficiency.”

Though, falling in love is not easy for him: “I am a slow burner for sure, yeah. I don’t fall easily.”
