Love Islands Kady McDermott teases phase two of her post-villa hair transformation

Love Island's Kady McDermott has been one busy woman since leaving the villa (for the second time!). She's appeared on the ITV reunion episode as well as on plenty of different podcasts, so we've been seeing a lot of her. Because of this we immediately noticed a big change to her look in recent TikTok videos: she's now got dark hair.

The caramel hue she wore in the Love Island villa is gone and in its place is a glossy deep brunette tone which makes her incredible blue eyes pop.

Documenting the trip to the salon in a new TikTok video posted to her account, Kady captions the short clip: "Back on the dark side".

The video was only posted yesterday but has quickly gained over 25k likes and 300k views, however, it also has no comments. It seems Kady has turned off her comments for this particular clip, likely because of the backlash she's been receiving after the reunion episode drama.

Personally, we think the drama is all coming from Kady's new hair – in the best way. The clip shows her sitting in the hot seat with her usual caramel-toned colour before it transitions to her posing in the same chair but with a seriously glossy dark chocolate tone.

The colour reminds us of Kady's look when she entered the Love Island villa for the first time in 2016, so it's giving us major flashbacks to series two of the ITV2 show.

We wonder if this is phase two of her post Love Island hair journey considering she's already been for one colour appointment since leaving the villa last month.

In mid-July the 27 year old told her Instagram followers that she was desperate to go back to brunette after "five weeks of sun made it so blonde/orange".

For Kady’s first post-villa freshen-up, hairstylist Millie-Mae did a subtle balayage with chocolate brown colour at the top and some lighter, ashier brunette shades at the bottom and plenty of subtle highlights.

Now, it seems she's taken the brunette tone one step deeper with an all-over gloss of dark colour.

We wonder if there'll be a phase three of the transformation!
