Madonna and Sam Smith released their new single, the ballroom-influenced dance track “Vulgar,” on Friday.

“Let’s get into the groove / You know just what to do / Boy, get down on your knees / ‘Cause I am Madonna,” the Queen of Pop sings in her verse, referencing her 1985 hit “Into the Groove.”

“If you f—k with Sam tonight, you’re f—king with me / So watch what you say or I’ll split your banana,” she continues.

The “Unholy” singer’s part, meanwhile, features the lyrics, “You know you’re beautiful when they call you vulgar / I do what I wanna / I go when I gotta / I’m sexy, I’m free and I feel vulgar.”

“This is epic!” one fan commented on Madonna’s TikTok account.

“Song of the summer ✨UNLOCKED✨,” another wrote on Smith’s page.

The Grammy winners announced on May 24 that they had a collaboration on the way.

One week later, they revealed its title, release date and cover artwork, which features close-up black-and-white photos of Smith, 31, and Madonna, 64, wearing corsets.

Rather than including their full names on the cover, the boundary-pushing artists opted to go by their initials, “S&M,” in a not-so-subtle nod to sadomasochism.

Madonna and Smith previously teamed up in February at the 2023 Grammy Awards, where the legendary entertainer introduced the “Stay With Me” crooner’s polarizing performance with Kim Petras.

After the show, Smith shared a photo with the “Vogue” singer alongside the caption, “Overwhelmed, grateful and inspired. Thank you for your love and support @madonna. I’ll never forget your kindness ❤️.”
