Major supermarket to give thousands of workers a pay rise to £10.20 – shop pay ranked | The Sun

A MAJOR supermarket will be boosting thousands of workers' pay packets, upping its hourly rate to £10.20.

Morrisons will give 80,000 store and manufacturing a 2% rise from October.

It is understood that it will be the highest paying UK supermarket once the pay hikes roll in.

Minimum wage for London staff will rise to £11.05 an hour, the same as the voluntary London Living Wage.

Workers will vote on whether to accept the rise or not.

This year's rise is not as big as last year's, when Morrisons hiked pay by 9% for 96,000 staff.
