Major toy shop giving away free Lego at 50 stores – but you'll need to be quick | The Sun

A BIG toy shop is giving away free LEGO at 50 of its shops, but shoppers will need to be quick.

The Entertainer is offering kids the chance to get a free LEGO Friends toy as part of a "Make and Take" event.

Children will be invited to make one of their own LEGO Friends creations before taking it home for free.

LEGO friends is made up of toys that allow children to build their own communities, including buildings like cafes and schools in a bid to improve interpersonal skills.

But shoppers will need to be quick as the offer will only be available for a short period of time.

It'll be available between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday February 25 only.

How to save money on your shopping

When you're shopping for a particular toy, always shop around at different stores first to see if its on offer anywhere.

Shops tend to have some sort of discount so you could end up saving cash.

Sign up to company newsletters to get early access to discounts and offers.

Make sure you've got any big sale events in your diary and you've planned your list.

Make use of secondhand toys, especially after Christmas where families may have gotten two of the same thing, for example.

Head to charity shops or look online at brands like eBay, Depop and Vinted.

Remember, if something you were planning to buy is on sale, then it's a save but if you weren't planning on getting it, then you're not really saving money.
