Martin Lewis' MSE warns you have just DAYS left to get cheap Disney+ membership – how to get it | The Sun

MARTIN Lewis' MSE is urging customers to snatch up a Disney+ membership NOW before a huge discount runs out.

A one-month membership usually costs £7.99 – or £79.90 for a year – but right now you can claim one month for just £2.

Thousands of households are searching for cheap deals and ways to cut costs before the price cap hits in October.

Luckily, there's a mammoth Disney+ deal out for new or previous subscribers who are signing up for a new account.

It'll only cost £1.99 for your first month, the price of which is usually close to a tenner.

But you'll need to be quick – the deadline is Tuesday, 20 September at 7.59am – and you don't want to risk missing out.

You won't be able to claim this deal if you already have an active Disney+ subscription, though.

You should also note the price will revert back to its usual £7.99 after the first month, but it might still be worth cutting back £6.

You can sign up to claim here.

But do note – this is only a bargain if you planned to buy a subscription in the first place. Otherwise you should consider whether it's worth it.

And don't forget you can cancel your account at any time – so if you don't want to continue with a £7.99 subscription plan, it's best to keep that in mind.

If you've got a Tesco Clubcard, you can also exchange £6 in Clubcard vouchers for three months' Disney+.

But this offer ends tomorrow at 10am, so you'll need to be extra quick.

After tomorrow, the deal will increase to £8 needing to be exchanged in Clubcard vouchers.

Have a look on the Clubcard app for more information. You should have a code that's valid until 10 August 2023.

So if you already have a subscription, you can wait till it expires, then use the code.

Sometimes it's best to rotate which streaming services you use – just four of the biggest services will cost you about £30 a month, and you're probably not using them all at once to their value.

Using one at a time could save up to £20 – and if you don't like it, just cancel that subscription.

Here are a few options:

  1. Amazon Prime Video, £8.99 per month after 30-day trial – sign up here

Prime Video is Amazon's take on online streaming services and is part of the wide array of services that come with a Prime subscription, including free delivery on many products, and more.

In terms of the streaming service's quality, Prime Video thrives on a few, highly-anticipated original shows, including American Gods, The Grand Tour, and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.

  1. Apple TV+, £4.99 per month – buy here

Apple TV+ launched towards the end of 2019 and aims to provide an ad-free service with high-quality original content.

The service offers a few interesting shows, but its catalogue is still somewhat limited when compared with more established streaming service providers.

It also costs less, however, and you can get a 7-day free trial, so if you absolutely love the whole catalogue, it could be the right option for you.

  • Netflix, £6.99 per month – buy here

Being the most widely used streaming service in the western world, Netflix needs no introduction.

The streaming service constantly produces a steady stream of original films and TV shows, together with expanding its catalogue by adding already existing content.

The basic Netflix subscription in the UK costs £6.99 and offers video streaming at 480p, but you'll probably be better off paying £10.99 to upgrade your picture quality to full HD at 1080p.
