MORRISONS has issued an urgent recall over some of its food products, which may contain small pieces of glass.
The supermarket chain issued the recall of several of its breaded chicken products and warned shoppers not to eat them.
Morrisons said there is a risk that some packs of certain products may contain small pieces of glass which could cause harm to shoppers.
The affected items include:
- Morrisons Breaded Chicken Goujons 270g – Use by June 20 and 21
- Morrisons Breaded Chicken Goujons 650g – Use by June 20 and 21
- Morrisons Breaded Chicken Nuggets 260g – Use by June 19
- Morrisons Breaded Chicken Platter 600g – Use by June 19
- Morrisons Breaded Chicken Steaks 500g – Use by June 19
Customers are being told not to eat the products.
If you've bought any of the packs, return them to your nearest store for a full refund – you won't need a receipt.

You can find your nearest Morrisons store by using its store locator.
The supermarket chain confirmed no other products have been affected.
"We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety," it said in a statement.
It comes after Co-op issued an urgent recall of tins of tuna chunks earlier this month over fears they could contain pieces of metal.
Whole Foods also took its Urban Remedy drink off its shelves last week after it was found to potentially be infected.

Product recalls happen when there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold.
It is then usually taken off the shelves or "recalled" which means customers are asked to return it.
The Food Standards Agency issues product recall information notices to let consumers and local authorities know about problem associated with food.
