Superfan covered in Eminem tattoos felt ‘naked’ in old snaps taken before ink

Super Stan Nikki Patterson has 31 tattoos dedicated to hip hop legend Eminem – a transformation that has made the mum proud of her body.

Her ink-credible journey was validated further when she scooped a Guinness World Record in 2020 for having the most tattoos of the same musician.

The 36-year-old, who lives in Aberdeen, is even planning to add more portraits of the rapper in the limited space she has left.

But she has now revealed how different she looked and felt prior to the makeover – saying she hated her inkless skin.

Speaking to Daily Star, she said: “I think I don’t look like myself when I look back .But the more tattoos I’ve got the more I like myself in pictures.

“I look naked but every tattoo I get feels like it is meant to be there.

“It helps massively with my confidence and when I got my first portrait of Eminem that started improving how I felt overnight.

“I’ve gone from someone who wanted to blend in and not be seen because I was worried about how I looked to someone who wants to put herself out there and be seen.

“The tattoos have changed me a lot.”

Earlier this month she acknowledged how she now lets her nine-year-old boy listen to the Detroit rapper.

Nikki – who met her husband when he reached out after seeing dancing to Godzilla on Instagram – has seen the artist perform live seven times.

And she is now sharing her love of the Lose Yourself star with her little boy.

She said: “Josh definitely knows who Eminem is and I do now let him listen.

“He is quite a sensitive kid and he will say to me ‘oh you can’t say that word’ so him listening to a bad word isn’t something he will go and repeat.

“Don’t get me wrong though, some of the songs I do skip… I don’t want him listening to the murder ones.”

The mum added: "He gets why mum now likes Eminem and how he inspires me the same way he is inspired by music.

“But Eminem doesn’t affect him the same way and he’s not wanting to listen to him as much.

“He is at the stage where rap sounds the same so he will hear someone rap and he will ask ‘is that Eminem’ and I’m like ‘no’.”

Nikki was 14 when she discovered his music and by the end of the year she wants to add an Eminem and Dr Dre portrait to her bicep.

But despite being his number one fan, Nikki, who has 13,000 Instagram followers, is yet to meet him in person.

She said: “This sounds really dark but before I die I feel I have a good chance of meeting him.

“Especially now the world is getting back to normal with Covid. I hope he starts doing more concerts because then it might happen.”
