Mum left red-faced after not realising sons name was spelt wrong on new tattoo

A mum has been left mortified after she had her own child's name tattooed on her arm – but failed to notice that it was spelt wrong until it was too late.

TikTok user @aaryn.mj took to the app, seemingly enraged at herself after she realised that her tattoo artist had misspelt her son's name Michael as Micheal.

She didn't notice the blunder the stenciling so she could stop and correct them. She only noticed when she got home, when the error was already permanently etched onto her skin.

In the video, which gained more than 25,300 likes, the mum asked her followers what the "worst case scenario" would be when getting a name tattooed as she claimed: "It's not breaking up."

Answering her own question, she said: "It's spelling it wrong. Now, imagine you're gonna go get your children's names tattooed on you…

"You don't realise after looking at all the stencils to pick the right size that it is spelt wrong.

"They place the stencil. You still don't f**king see it. They tattoo the f**king thing on you. You still don't see it.

"it's not until you take the bandage off and you go to take pictures of it that you see that your son's name is spelt wrong for an eternity!"

Viewers seemed to find the mishap hilarious as they took to the comments to mock her mistake.

One user said: "I noticed it when you started talking. I was like 'that’s a weird way to spell Michael.'"

Another wrote: "Easy fix. Change his name."

A third added: "I’d do a cover-up and then redo his name lol."

A fourth commented: "Yep had that done. My daughter's name. Noticed before I left though, fixed it but I can still see the mistake."

Another user asked what she was planning to do to fix it, to which she replied: "MAYBE A BLACK BAR?!? I haven’t decided yet."
