My daughter's lowlife boyfriend has got her into drugs | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: MY daughter has changed into somebody I don’t recognise since she got with her low-life partner.

She’s 21 and her man is 28.

He’s got her into taking cocaine and she drinks a lot now. She hardly drank before.

He’s abusive and has hit her many times. The police have been called but don’t do anything, or she drops the charges.

She comes back home and causes rows with me and my wife. I’m 44 and can’t take much more.

I want her to be with us because she’s safe here but within an hour of her arrival, there’s a black cloud.

She’s awful and the tension is dreadful.

DEIDRE SAYS: She may be feeling trapped by him but only she can decide she needs to get away.

You can encourage her to find help through The National Domestic Abuse Helpline (nationaldahelpline.org.uk, 0808 2000 247).

Her cocaine habit will add to the tension on her visits, so seek advice from Adfam who will understand the issues (adfam.org.uk) involved.
