When it was announced last year that Australian soapNeighbours would be coming to an end,a whole host of familiar faces reprised their roles to say goodbye to the show. However, one star who was noticeably absent from the finale was Kimberley Davies who was known for playing Annalise Hartman back in the nineties.

After arriving in Erinsborough in 1993, Kimberley’s character Annalise was at the centre of several dramatic storylines, one of which saw her jilted at the altar by Mark Gottlieb. However, after three years on the show, Kimberley left in 1996.

According tothe Daily Mail, 50 year old Kimberley turned down the possibility of returning for the Neighbours finale in 2022 in order to focus on her career, and personal life, away from the world of acting.

Nearly three decades on since stepping back from her role on Neighbours, Kimberley looks as stunning as ever and is now a mum-of-three to Isabella, Josh, and Ashton – who she shares with husband Jason Harvey.

Kimberley reportedly has a decorating business in Melbourne and in 2007, she spoke to Australian publicationThe Age about enrolling on a business studies course to kickstart her new career.

“It's small-business management, basically – a very practical course,” she said. “I really like the idea of incorporating a small business with motherhood.”

However, since leaving Ramsay Street, Kimberley hasn’t completely turned her back on the small screen. Following her departure in 1996, the TV star became the host of Australian show Just Kidding! which saw members of the public become the centre of some practical jokes.

Kimberley also secured guest appearances in shows such as Friends and had a role in the soap Pacific Palisades alongside Joan Collins. She even returned to Neighbours in 2005 to mark its 20th anniversary.

Elsewhere, the 90s soap icon has tried her hand at reality TV and has appeared on a selection of different shows in the past. In 2005 for instance, she took part in Celebrity Circus where she was trained in various circus acts.

Meanwhile, that same year Kimberley entered the UK version ofI’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle where her campmates included celebs such as Jenny Frost and Sid Owen. Sadly she withdrew from the show after hurting her shoulder.

In 2007, Kimberley entered Australia’s version of Dancing With The Stars and also appeared in an advert for Daz soap.
