As the autumnal chill starts to creep up on us, we’re getting ready to start swapping out our favourite summer dresses in favour of something slightly warmer and more comfortable.
Although we’re admittedly a little bit excited about the prospect of layers, boots and cosy jackets, we’re also on the lookout for something to wear when the weather is still in between seasons.
When it’s too hot to wear trousers but not quite warm enough for bare legs, we’re turning to New Look’s 2 Pack Black Jersey Leggings, £17.99 here, as an easy transitional piece.
The wardrobe staples are perfect for everything from lounging around at home to wearing with sweatshirts and trainers for a casual day look, although unfortunately for leggings fanatics, many affordable pairs tend to err on the side of see-through.
That’s not the case with New Look’s2 Pack Black Jersey Leggings, £17.99 here, however, with reviews praising them for their opaqueness and how comfortable they are.
One review said: “These leggings feel really soft and they are true-to-size. I also like how they don't stretch and go all see-through when wearing them. I buy them for my daughter as school trousers twice a year or so and they hold up really well considering she wears them at least 2/3 times a week, every single week. Very pleased.”
Another agreed, writing: “Perfect leggings for my daughter, as part of her school uniform. Not too thin and very comfortable,” whilst a third said: “My normal leggings were out of stock so decided to try a different pair. These are really comfy and I really like them. It is not see-through and overall just super comfy.”
