New Neighbours video clips reveal moving final episode

It’s an emotional time for Neighbours fans as tonight, the final ever episode will air on Channel 5.

The build up to the finale has been exciting and bittersweet. We’ve seen the return of iconic characters which has filled us with joy but, of course, sadness as well, knowing these famous faces only made their way back to Ramsay Street as part of the ending celebrations.

On the list of icons returning are Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue, reprising their roles as Scott and Charlene for one final time.

In these brand new clips, we get a glimpse of what to expect tonight.

So, let’s take a look.

Toadie and Mel’s wedding

Ah, this first clip is a brilliant one.

Toadie (Ryan Moloney) and Mel (Lucinda Cowden) are getting married – and the big day will coincide with plenty of returns.

As Toadie arrives, he is taken aback to see Mel step out of a beautiful campervan in a white shirt and stunning white and gold skirt.

Mel and Toadie are absolutely buzzing to tie the knot and honestly, we can’t wait to watch!

Another huge return

Another clip we’ve got our hands on is an interesting one, as it features a mysterious stranger riding into town.

Now, we could keep this speculative and wonder just who it could be, but given previous photos – we can confirm the man on the bike is Mike Young, played by Guy Pearce.

Mike is set to rock up in Erinsborough in history-making scenes, and his comeback certainly will take a number of Ramsay Street’s finest by surprise.

Jason and Kylie tease the finale

Kylie also discusses how her decision to return to the soap was an easy one. She received a heartfelt email that summed up what it would be like to step into Scott and Charlene’s shoes again, and she knew heading back to Ramsay Street would be the perfect opportunity to say thank you to the fans.

Channel 5 will air the last episode of Neighbours tonight at 9pm.

Australian viewers have already said their goodbyes, with the finale attracting the biggest audience Down Under in over 13 years.
