Office worker roasted for making cup of tea that looks like they left bag out

An office worker's tea making skills have been blasted after making a shockingly pale brew.

Offering to make others a cuppa can always be risky – especially when you have to cater to different milk and sugar preferences.

Usually, in the true British polite manner, most will sip away hoping not to offend the bad tea maker.

However, this one office worker has reached the end of their tether with the hot beverage discourse.

After continually rejecting tea from their colleague, this worker was branded 'precious'.

So to defend their choice not to accept the tea, the Brit took to Reddit to reveal why they want nothing to do with the office brew.

"Co-worker keeps joking about me being ‘precious’ because I never accept when he offers to make me a cuppa," they wrote on the Casual UK subreddit.

"This is how he makes his tea."

They then shared the snap of the tea that appeared extremely milky and almost white in colour.

"Is there a magic way to stop him offering ever again?" the worker pleaded.

Many Brits fled to the comments to bash the office worker and their appalling take on a cup of tea.

One person commented: "Isn't even tea.

"Just tell him you don't like hot milk."

Another user added: "Swap his tea for chicken soup. See if he notices."

While a third voiced: "Looks like he put an entire cup of milk in your cuppa.

"That's insanity."

Someone else jibed: "That’s not a tea, it’s a cup of warm milk that had the concept of a tea bag described to it."

Meanwhile, a fifth chuckled: "You forgot to post the picture after he put the tea bag in."

And, this user said: "I went to a family wedding in Ireland once, and they used one teabag for four cups of tea.

"The outrage."
