Pot Noodle brings back limited edition flavour for Christmas – fans are divided | The Sun

POT Noodle has decided to bring back a controversial festive flavour and it’s dividing fans.

Fans have found the snack on supermarket shelves which has made a return for the second year in a row.

The 100g Pot Noel King Pot Christmas Dinner is supposed to taste like gravy and stuffing inspired by the traditional turkey meal on December 25.

The flavour was discontinued for 12 years before it was brought back last year, and it has now been spotted again on shelves in Asda.

Each pot is £1.40 in Asda which is the same price as a standard Pot Noodle snack.

Fans posted on the Newfoodsuk Instagram group letting others know that the festive snack “Pot Noel” is back for the winter season.

But there were a fair few fans who said they were brave enough to try the Pot Noodle.

One user said: “Tried last year and really liked it.”

“Sounds amazing!” argued someone else.

It doesn’t look like you will be able to buy this unique flavour in any other supermarket besides Asda.

But if you are interested in getting one use the Asda store locator to find the nearest branch to you and check ahead as prices may vary.

There are quite a few Pot Noodle dupes out there Asda's Just Essentials Chicken and Mushroom Flavour Noodles are only 65p.

Super Noodles are available in most stores and they usually got for about £1.30

This isn’t the first time Pot Noodle has stepped out of its comfort zone with flavours.

A few years back the snack company announced they would be producing a Pot Pasta snack range which includes King Pot Pasta Carbonara and King Pot Pasta Bolognese.

It brought back its Abra Kebabra Doner Kebab flavour in July for the first time in nine years.

Fans were not impressed when they learned the brand was trialling paper pots with many concerned the new material wouldn't be able to hold hot water.

It's advised you wait at least four minutes after adding hot water to your pot noodles before eating them.

Brands recommend you eat at a table as opposed to eating them with a bowl on your lap, transferring the noodles to a heat-resistant cup or bowl is also advised.
